This is the second time that chef DANIEL OLIVELLA and Aborígens work together to design a memorable culinary trip around Catalonia.
While the highlight is the human castle performance during the town festival of Vilafranca del Penedès -chef Daniel’s hometown- at the end of our journey, we will start in Barcelona with a cultural and culinary introduction.
After spending some time in the capital, we will travel South to explore one of the world’s top wine regions, Priorat, enjoying a dramatic landscape as we taste its unique blend of grenache and carignan.
The next stop is a remote natural park, where a famous rice grows in the wetlands next to oyster and mussel farms -which we will visit by boat.
The last section of our trip takes place by the beach, from where we will visit Daniel’s region, famous for its cava sparkling wine, and will celebrate together the human towers festival.
